Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a long-term DoD program focused on enterprise network security, firewall engineering, and secure network infrastructure. This 100% onsite role is in Norfolk, VA or Pearl Harbor, HI, supporting NMCI and Navy enterprise environments.

You will design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall, VPN, and DMZ infrastructure, providing Tier III engineering and incident response.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Active IAT Level III certification (CISSP, CASP+, CCNP Security).
• Active associate-level vendor certification from Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or F5 Networks.
• Extensive hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and DMZ infrastructure.
• Experience with Juniper and Cisco security devices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise firewall, VPN, and DMZ infrastructure for DoD networks.
• Engineer and troubleshoot Juniper/Cisco security devices and VPN solutions.
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, and security enhancements across enterprise network infrastructure.
• Provide Tier III engineering support, incident response, and vendor coordination.
• Develop and maintain EIPs, configuration changes, and maintenance procedures.
• Plan and execute network upgrades in coordination with stakeholders.
• Participate in RCA and incident management activities.
