Job summary

Sigma Defense seeks a Network Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA, focusing on converging voice, video, and data between ship and shore. You will work on the ADNS/CANES platforms, perform Cisco-based configurations, and support multi-site DO N deployments in a classified environment.

Candidate must have DoD/networking experience, Cisco/Meraki familiarity, and be able to obtain a Secret clearance. This role offers competitive pay and benefits in a federal contracting setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DoD/government networks and Cisco routing/switching.
• Designing, deploying, or managing LAN/WAN and SD-WAN environments.
• Experience with Windows OS and Office 365.
• Cisco Meraki network environments incl. VLANs, VPNs, security.
• Ability to obtain/hold active Secret clearance; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modernize government networks and systems.
• Perform Cisco-based troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Support network integration and testing at government facilities.
• Configure and maintain Cisco switches (C3850/C9300), Palo Alto firewalls.
• Coordinate with lab managers on RDT&E network deployments.
