Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems seeks a Network Engineer to converge voice, video, and data between ship and shore, supporting the ADNS/CANES environment and related DoD networks.

Responsibilities include designing, deploying, testing, and supporting enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and secure networks, configuring Cisco switches/routers, Palo Alto firewalls, and TACLANE devices, ensuring compliance with Naval requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• DoD- or government-focused networking experience preferred.
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN and SD-WAN environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and modernization of government networks.
• Support Cisco-based troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Configure Cisco C3850/C9300 switches and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Coordinate with lab managers on RDT&E network deployment.
• Participate in network integration and testing events.
