Job summary

Compass Point, an Akima company, is seeking a Senior Computer User Support Specialist to join our USSOCOM ITSM team. You will support enterprise IT services across multiple networks and mission-critical apps, working with DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 certifications.

You will resolve complex technical issues, serve as an expert across desktop OS and office suites, and sometimes supervise others.

Qualifications

DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.
Current TS clearance with SCI eligibility required.
Bachelor's degree in STEM; related experience may substitute.
Years of experience: 5+ with BS/BA, 3+ with MS/MA, 0 with PhD.

Responsibilities

Provides hardware, software, network and application problem resolution for end-users.
Plans and leads major technology assignments.
Interfaces with end-users and technicians; acts as a technical expert across projects.
May supervise others and guide junior staff.
Communicates effectively verbally and in writing with diverse stakeholders.
Works rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
Represents a professional image in all communications with customers.
