Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Enterprise IT Operations Manager in Colorado Springs, CO on the NITES program to oversee ITSM and operations for a DoD mission. You will manage 85+ O&M personnel, ensuring availability, reliability, and security of mission-critical systems, with DoD regulatory alignment and vendor coordination.

Qualifications include 14+ years in IT, DoD IA policy, and a DoD 8570 Level III cert. Bachelor’s in CS/IT/Eng (Master’s preferred) and active ITIL are desirable.

Qualifications

• 14+ years IT experience in DoD/Federal environments.
• 6+ years as IT Operations Manager in a DoD/Federal setting.
• 5+ years leading geographically dispersed technical teams.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with DoD IA policy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Active DoD 8570 IA Level III certification (CISSP, CASP+ or equivalent).
• ITIL v4 Foundation or Practitioner certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure using the NOC.
• Oversee portfolio, projects, and continuous service delivery aligned with Steering Group.
• Enforce ITSM and SRF processes per TTPs using ServiceNow/Ivanti.
• Oversee Change and Configuration Management; maintain service catalog and CIs.
• Lead Tier 1–3 support and vendor coordination; monitor KPIs and CSAT.
• Coordinate incident response lifecycle and DoD compliance activities.
