Job summary

Cinteot is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to provide senior cybersecurity engineering and RMF/DIACAP accreditation support to the DISA IE. The role bridges vulnerability management, STIG/SRG application, and documentation to ensure ATO readiness.

The ISSO – Level 3 will mentor junior ISSOs, interact with government stakeholders, and lead the development of SSPs, SARs, and POA&Ms while ensuring compliance with RMF, STIGs, and SRGs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• DoD 8140.03 / 8570.01-M baseline certification required (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM).
• 7+ years in cybersecurity engineering, RMF/DIACAP accreditation, and DoD compliance.
• Experience applying DISA STIGs/SRGs and preparing eMASS packages.
• Strong written and verbal communication for presenting risk to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and validate RMF/AA artifacts (SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms).
• Apply DISA STIGs/SRGs to maintain technical baselines across systems.
• Manage vulnerability results (ACAS/HBSS/CMRS) and remediation.
• Prepare accreditation packages in eMASS for timely submissions.
• Conduct ST&E activities and support CCRI/SAV/CVPA, tracking corrective actions.
