Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Senior Information System Security Manager to oversee the cybersecurity posture of DISA systems. You will manage the RMF lifecycle, develop security policies, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure DoD standards are met.

The role requires DoD security expertise, strong communication, and the ability to lead governance activities across system architectures and IA compliance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's with 6+ years (experience can substitute for education).
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent senior-level cybersecurity certification.
• Deep knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, NIST 800-53, RMF, FISMA, ICD 503, JSIG.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full RMF lifecycle to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Support FISMA, certification, and accreditation requirements.
• Conduct recurring assessments of security controls and documentation in eMASS/PPSM.
