Job summary

Integrated Data Services seeks a Senior Financial Manager to provide on-site DoD financial management support for the NC3 Sustainment Division at Peterson AFB, CO. The role requires DoD/DoW experience, budgeting, EVM, and FIAR proficiency, with responsibilities spanning budgets, forecasts, and financial documentation.

Ideal candidate has seven+ years in government finance, CCaR/CRIS/WAWF familiarity, and a Bachelor's degree. Travel may be required; on-site hours apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of government acquisition, finance or related DoD/DoW experience.
• CCaR experience and certification preferred.
• Air Force acquisitions experience desired.
• Experience in DoD financial management, budget execution and POM development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare program budgets, reports and documentation; analyze funding and budgeting requirements and propose improvements.
• Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis, financial execution reporting and EVM analysis.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
• Use automated management information systems for analysis, advisory work and reporting.
• Compile and analyze financial data for FIAR activities, internal controls and routine reporting.
• Support development and execution of funds management documents and forecasts.
• Prepare funding papers including PRs and MIPRs; maintain an audit trail of funding documents.
• Track status of approved, deferred and released funds and correct discrepancies.
• Conduct quick-turn 'what-if' funding assessments and support data calls.
• Monitor DoD exercises and simulations requiring financial management support.
