Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC is seeking a Financial Manager to support the NC3 Sustainment Division. The role is based at Peterson Space Force Base, CO, and requires active DoD Secret clearance. You will manage budgets, perform forecasting, and ensure FIAR compliance for DoD program finances.

The candidate will prepare financial papers, briefings, and documentation for BERs, IBRs, MDRs, and PMRs, while maintaining rigorous audit trails and supporting program decision-making.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen required.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• BA/BS degree required.
• 3–5 years of Air Force Financial Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare program budgets, reports, and financial documentation; analyze funding and budgeting requirements and propose improvements.
• Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis, and financial execution reporting.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Maintain audit trails and generate ad hoc financial reports.
• Support FIAR activities, BERs, IBRs, PMRs, and related reviews.
• Prepare funding documents (PRs, MIPRs) and supporting POM documents.
