Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer located at Camp Smith in Hawaii to design, integrate, and execute exercise network architectures that align with operational requirements and the broader theater architecture for joint and multinational training.

The role requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI; strong experience with WAN/LAN, encryption, SDN, firewalls, VPNs, RMF, and DoD C2/Mission Command systems is required, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of related experience, or 13 years without a degree.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI; US citizenship required.
• Extensive networking expertise across WAN/LAN, encryption, SDN, firewall and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Integrate USPACOM J6 owned networks.
• Design, develop, and execute scalable, secure exercise network architectures.
• Collaborate with engineers and external stakeholders to deliver executable architectures.
• Integrate common services, C2/Mission Command systems into exercise networks; troubleshoot issues.
• Support J6 exercise planners during planning conferences and exercises.
