Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Network Engineer SME to support USPACOM J6 enterprise IT and Mission Partner Environment initiatives at Camp Smith, HI. The role focuses on architecture, design, and cross-team collaboration to deliver secure networking solutions.

Candidates should have 8+ years in DoD/enterprise IT, an active Secret clearance, and strong technical writing skills to produce documentation and briefings for leadership and partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in DoD/enterprise IT environments.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist architecture, engineering planning, and design for Mission Partner Environment (MPE).
• Translate operational requirements into executable technical plans and designs.
• Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, and diagrams.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and document outcomes.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, and recommendations for leadership.
