Job summary

Agil3 Technology Solutions LLC ("A3T") is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to deliver enterprise-level systems engineering and support for the U.S. Government environment.

You will design, configure, administer, monitor, and secure complex enterprise IT systems across on-premises, Azure IL2, and Microsoft 365, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible IT systems engineering, systems administration, or enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• DoD 8140 / DCWF requirements for Work Role 451 at Advanced proficiency level.
• Experience in DoD Federal Government or comparable enterprise IT environments.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP/LDAPS, PKI, and enterprise identity/access services.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 enterprise services.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Experience with enterprise backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business-continuity technologies.
• Experience patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Knowledge of DISA STIGs, IAVM/IAVA requirements, cyber hardening, and DoD configuration-management practices.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring, performance analysis, capacity management, and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to diagnose complex problems spanning servers, applications, network services, virtualization, storage, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to develop technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, engineering plans, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, document, and secure enterprise network and systems services.
• Engineer and administer Windows-based enterprise infrastructure and services.
• Support physical and virtual server environments and enterprise applications.
• Support Microsoft 365 services and integration with the enterprise environment.
• Support virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, reliability, and security; identify deterioration.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex issues.
• Apply OS, server, application, and network patches per directives and cybersecurity requirements.
• Develop and maintain system configurations, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and procedures.
• Develop backup, restoration, contingency, and disaster-recovery strategies.
• Support data-center and cloud infrastructure performance and capacity requirements.
• Evaluate lifecycle status; advise on EOL/EOS, modernization, and tech refresh.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, integrations, and technology refresh activities.
• Validate proposed technical solutions and designs before implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to staff.
• Participate in incident/problem/root-cause analysis; develop corrective actions.
• Create After Action Reports and lessons learned after significant incidents or changes.
