Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Senior Corporate Enterprise Network Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency and its Enterprise Infrastructure Services. The role focuses on WAN design, implementation, and interoperability across NIPR/SIPR networks, with a hybrid work schedule at customer sites and TekSynap facilities.

You will coordinate with government customers, develop technology refresh plans, produce design documentation, and ensure secure, scalable network solutions using IPv4/IPv6, VPNs,

Qualifications

• Must have Secret Clearance with IT-I eligibility.
• Must have Active CCNP Enterprise.
• Must have or be able to obtain Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or higher, CCSE within 60 days after start.
• Must have one of the following DoD 8570 Baseline IAT Level III certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive IT experience including WAN deployments and VOIP considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements to manage a task from inception to conclusion.
• Expert knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 protocols and services (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Multicast, QoS).
• Coordinate with government customers to create a Technology Assessment Plan (TAP) for WAN refresh.
• Plan, perform, and document laboratory assessments of hardware and software for DISN services.
• Produce design drawings and After Action Reports (AAR) with recommendations.
