Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Senior Corporate Enterprise Network Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency. The role involves planning, designing, and integrating WAN/NIPR/SIPR connectivity, with responsibilities in lab assessments, technology refreshes, and security policy analysis.

Applicants must hold secret clearance, CCNP Enterprise, and DoD 8570 Level III certifications. Hybrid work in Springfield, VA with 10–25% travel and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance with IT-I eligibility required.
• Active CCNP Enterprise certification required.
• CCSA or CCSE certification; CCSE within 60 days after start.
• DoD 8570 Baseline IAT Level III certifications such as CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH.

Responsibilities

• Senior Corporate Enterprise Network Engineer handles network engineering tasks from inception to conclusion.
• Develop specifications for simple to moderately complex problems.
• Coordinate with government representatives to ensure accurate solutions and satisfaction.
• Prepare design drawings, after action reports, and documentation for executive briefings.
• Ensure interoperability among NIPR, SIPR, and DISN network equipment.

Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)

Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
