Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Principal Contracts Manager to provide professional contract management as a key team contributor in support of the Signal Technology BU. The role demands a thorough understanding of DoD contracting, strong independent work, and leadership within a collaborative team.

The incumbent will manage program and project contracts, review complex solicitations, draft and negotiate agreements, and maintain risk controls across multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in contract administration/defense contracting.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and DoD procurement rules.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.
• Travel: as required, <10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage Program and Project Contracts supporting Line of Business.
• Review complex solicitations and prepare proposals; ensure adherence to Terms and Conditions and regulations.
• Draft/ review and redline customer agreements; negotiate master agreements to protect company interests.
• Advise management on contractual rights, IP protections, COIs and risk mitigation.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and meet deadlines for internal/external requests.
• Enter contract data into databases and analyze contract compliance with other functions.
• Interface with Government contracting officials and prime contractors externally.
• Coordinate with Contracts, Legal, Program Management, Finance, Pricing and others internally.
