Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer to support TE integration and cybersecurity compliance for Raytheon test systems in a US-based role. You will work across Linux and Windows environments, ensure patching and configuration are compliant, and help maintain test integrity across platforms.

Role requires a DoD security clearance, DoD 8570.01m IAT II credentials preferred, and experience with Ansible, Nessus, and Red Hat Satellite. The position is onsite in MA with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Active DoD security clearance required; U.S. citizenship. DoD 8570.01m IAT II credentials preferred.
• 3+ years of Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS) experience.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite for patching and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration, networking, and AD integration.
• Familiarity with Nessus, OpenSCAP, CIS benchmarks, and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with Ansible playbooks for patch management and config tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide TE integration and cybersecurity guidance for Raytheon test systems.
• Develop cybersecurity compliant TE (Linux, Windows) configurations.
• Install software packages and updates to production/test equipment.
• Troubleshoot TE connectivity, functionality, and test integrity.
• Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE into controlled networks.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance and use security tools.
• Work with engineering to avoid impacting test integrity during changes.
• Contribute to automation of patch management and configuration tasks using Ansible.
