Job summary

RTX in El Segundo, CA is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to provide compliance guidance for production and procurement of test equipment (TE). This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and a active DoD Secret clearance day one.

You will develop cybersecurity compliant TE across Linux, iOS and Windows, install software, troubleshoot, and collaborate with Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity to ensure test integrity and network containment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 3 years of Linux systems administration experience if advanced STEM degree.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing or firewalls like iptables.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cybersecurity guidance to engineering for TE production and procurement.
• Support Flight Test capabilities and processes for Raytheon test systems.
• Develop Cybersecurity Compliant TE (Linux, IOS, Windows).
• Install software packages/updates to TE operations and testing.
• Troubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity.
• Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE into controlled networks or enterprises.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance using Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect TE availability or test integrity.
