Job summary

RTX is seeking a cybersecurity/test equipment integration engineer for onsite work in Andover, MA, supporting test environments across DoD programs. The role focuses on cybersecurity compliance, TE integration, and patch management, with heavy collaboration across Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity teams.

The candidate will deploy Linux-based TE, manage software packages, and ensure test system integrity while maintaining DoD Secret clearance prerequisites and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Linux systems administration experience (RHEL/CentOS) with at least 3 years.
• Experience administering Red Hat Satellite for patching and content lifecycle management.
• Package management and repository management experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cybersecurity compliance guidance to engineering for TE production and procurement.
• Support Flight Test capabilities and processes for Raytheon test systems.
• Develop Cybersecurity Compliant TE (Linux, IOS, Windows).
• Install software packages/updates to enhance TE operations and testing.
• Troubleshoot TE for connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity.
• Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE into controlled networks.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance (Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti).
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect TE test availability.
• Support reviews required prior to implementing changes to TE.
• Contribute to automation of patch management using Ansible.
