Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an Architect to support the KEOS contract at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. The Architect will prepare design documentation, conduct design reviews, and coordinate with contractors to ensure code compliance and mission-critical facility sustainment.

The role requires an NAAB‑accredited degree, 5+ years of experience, US citizenship and security clearance eligibility, and licensure within one year, with proficiency in Acrobat and Office 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in NAAB‑accredited architecture program.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• US citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance.
• Registered Architect in one US state with 1‑year licensure target.
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME throughout project lifecycle from existing conditions to conceptual design and construction.
• Evaluate submittals, provide technical approach assessments, and develop modification packages.
• Review plans and detailing for new construction and renovations.
• Participate in design reviews and requirements validation.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure safety and code compliance.
• Prepare and present briefings to government counterparts and clients.
• Research, plan, design, and administer building projects per codes and materials.
• Consult with customers to determine functional and spatial requirements.
