Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. is hiring a Budget Analyst III in Arlington, VA to provide senior-level budget analysis and financial management for an Army client in a fast-paced headquarters setting.

You will manage complex funding portfolios, support budget execution across the PPBE cycle, and deliver timely financial insight to inform leadership decisions on funding strategies. This onsite role requires collaboration with Requirement Owners, the COR, and the Acquisition team.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
• Strong knowledge of federal budgeting, appropriations law, and DoD/Army financial regulations.
• Experience managing spend plans, tracking obligations and disbursements, and producing execution performance reports.
• Demonstrated, expert-level knowledge of the DoD PPBE process and Army budget cycles, including HQDA level reviews.
• Experience supporting DoD/Army financial statement audit readiness, audit response, or audit remediation (e.g., with DFAS) preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Power Apps for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed budget submissions, funding justifications, and supporting materials for internal, Army, and DoD reviews.
• Develop and manage complex spend plans; track obligations and disbursements; provide variance analysis and performance reporting.
• Conduct shortfall and UFR analysis to identify funding gaps and inform decisions.
• Support the full PPBE cycle, including program build, budget justification, and execution review.
• Support POM/FYDP submissions, including data calls and defense of resources at PEG-level forums.
• Engage Requirement Owners to validate funding needs and ensure accurate budget documentation.
• Coordinate with the COR to support contract funding actions and alignment with appropriations guidance.
