Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking a Budget Analyst III to deliver senior-level budget analysis and financial management support to a DoD Army client in a fast-paced, HQ-level environment.

You will lead spending plans, provide execution analytics, and brief senior leaders. A Secret clearance and Army budgeting experience are required, with opportunities for professional development and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
• 8–10 years of federal financial management, budgeting, and execution.
• Strong knowledge of PPBE process and Army budget cycles.
• Experience supporting DoD Army financial audit readiness or remediation is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with modeling, pivot tables and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication for senior leadership briefs.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of detailed budget submissions, funding justifications, and materials for reviews.
• Develop and manage complex spend plans; track obligations and disbursements.
• Conduct shortfall and UFR analysis to inform resourcing decisions.
• Support the full PPBE cycle including program build and execution reviews.
• Coordinate with COR and Acquisition for funding actions and procurement planning.
• Create executive briefings, dashboards, and data visualizations on performance.
• Mentor junior analysts in federal financial management best practices.
