Job summary

Serco Inc. (Americas division) is seeking an SME Anti-Tamper Engineer to support the DoD Anti-Tamper program at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on systems security engineering and microelectronics, requiring a TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.

Responsibilities include applying protection planning, evaluating circuitry, supporting RFP processes, and collaborating with DoD labs and industry partners to mitigate vulnerabilities in weapon systems. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP and current background investigation within 5 years or under Continuous Vetting.
• Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline with 20+ years relevant DoD/government/contractor experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process, weapon system protection planning, and anti-tamper methods for new and existing weapons systems.
• Assess integrated circuitry, processors and memory chips for reverse engineering methodologies.
• Provide engineering support for technology acquisitions including RFP development and technical oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Assess acquired capabilities against system requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with Service labs and industry on vulnerabilities and lab exploitation capabilities.
• Identify technologies and evaluate design protections to safeguard CPI for DoD programs.
• Work with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to understand current designs and vulnerabilities.
• Assist improvements in anti-tamper/anti-exploitation design, development, manufacturing, training, and sustainment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in system/subsystem/component testing.
• Conduct performance, supportability, schedule and risk assessments and scheduling trade-offs.
• Create, staff, publish, and maintain security classification guides for the DoD AT community.
