Job summary

The Holston Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Acquisition Consultant to advise a government client on contract development and management under FAR/DFARS. The role requires coordinating acquisition planning, market research, and lifecycle management in IT, cyber, and systems engineering areas.

Candidate must have a Master’s degree (or equivalent with experience), extensive DoD contracting knowledge (OTA/CRADA/PIA), and strong cross-team collaboration skills. A Top Secret/SI with poly is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of related experience (or Bachelor's with +2 years).
• Experience with OTA, CRADAs, OTAs, PIAs and other DoD contracting methods is preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute contracts in IT, Cyber, Systems Engineering and related areas supporting government programs.
• Draft acquisition and contracting documents for various contract vehicles (GSA MAS, GWACs, MACs).
• Prepare legally sufficient acquisition documents reflecting technical and operational requirements for government approval.
• Perform acquisition lifecycle activities: Planning, Pre-Award, Evaluation, Post-Award, Closeout, policy updates, and process improvements.
• Assist HCA and CPMs with acquisition planning efforts and market research activities.
• Assist CPMs with oversight activities including Contract Surveillance Plans and documentation.
