Job summary

Offset Strategic Services, LLC in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Acquisition / Contract Analyst to support Army contracting throughout the lifecycle. You will work with government teams to define requirements, prepare SOWs/PWSs, and coordinate actions across FFP, T&M, and cost-reimbursement contracts.

The role requires deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DoD systems, and strong communication and coordination skills to drive procurement objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Acquisition, Contract Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience supporting federal or DoD acquisition, contracting, procurement, or contract administration.
• Strong working knowledge of Army contracting processes and the federal acquisition lifecycle.
• Experience with multiple contract types, including FFP, T&M, and cost-reimbursement.
• Experience developing, reviewing, or coordinating acquisition and contract requirements packages.
• Experience supporting both pre-award and post-award contract actions.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and applicable Army acquisition policies.
• Experience using PCF, PIEE, or similar DoD acquisition systems.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with contracting, program management, technical, legal, and financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide acquisition and contracting support throughout pre-award and post-award lifecycle.
• Assist government customers in defining, refining, and documenting acquisition requirements.
• Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition and contract requirements packages.
• Prepare and review SOWs, PWSs, IGEs, market research, acquisition plans, and related documentation.
• Support acquisition planning and strategy development for service contract requirements.
• Support contract actions involving FFP, T&M, cost-reimbursement, and other contract types.
• Support solicitation, evaluation, award, funding, modification, and contract administration activities.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate contract modifications, funding actions, scope changes, and other documentation.
• Review acquisition packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policies.
• Coordinate with Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, CORs, program managers, legal, financial, and technical teams.
• Maintain acquisition data in PIEE, PCF, and Army systems; manage files and SharePoint repositories.
• Perform contractual, financial, schedule, and programmatic analysis as required.
• Participate in acquisition planning meetings, IPTs, and program status meetings.
