Job summary

Goldbelt Apex is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist to lead program management and strategic analysis for DoD medical programs. You will develop strategies, briefings, and milestone documents while applying DoD processes and AF/PPBE guidelines.

Requires expert DoD acquisition knowledge, ability to produce executive-level docs, and independent work with up to 20% travel. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Necessary Skills and Knowledge: defense acquisition systems, DoDI 5000/AAF, PPBE, requirements/capability development, acquisition systems engineering, acquisition strategy and milestone documentation, risk, schedules, LCCE/TEMP/LCSP docs.
• Minimum Qualifications: expert knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, ability to develop executive-level documentation, independent work capability, travel up to 20%.
• Preferred Qualifications: DAWIA or equivalent training, medical product acquisition experience, DHA PAE MP incumbent and FDA-regulated familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior acquisition program management and strategic acquisition analysis.
• Develop acquisition strategies, milestone documentation, program briefings, schedules, risk products, and decision papers.
• Apply Materiel Requirements/Capability Development, PPBE, DoDI 5000, and Adaptive Acquisition Framework processes.
• Support ACAT medical programs and integration of medical product development with DoD acquisition processes.
