Axos Bank seeks a Documentation Specialist III to manage the documentation and closing process for commercial equipment lease transactions, ensuring due diligence and compliance before funding. You will review credit approvals and legal/financial documents, coordinating with Sales, Credit, customers, and third-party partners to facilitate accurate closings while mitigating risk.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial lease documentation or related field.
• Strong knowledge of documentation, funding, closing, and processes with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Review documentation requests for vendor PO/invoices, pricing, and due diligence requirements.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and customers to determine closing dates.
• Gather all elements to ensure a clean close and accurate data entry for funding.
• Manage booking of transactions through servicing agents and post-close items within 5 business days.
• Communicate with customers, sales, and vendors to meet closing timelines.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new hires.
