Job summary

Luster is seeking Document Control Specialists to support major heavy-civil infrastructure projects across highways, bridges, transit, aviation, and water sectors. These roles manage project documentation from inception to closeout, ensuring accuracy, version control, and accessibility across stakeholders.

The position supports advance hiring needs, with candidates entered into a talent pool for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on document control on large (> $500M) projects.
• Experience with drawings, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence.
• Familiarity with ISO-based document control standards.
• Proficiency with enterprise document control systems and version control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize project documentation with accuracy and version control.
• Implement document control procedures aligned with standards and best practices.
• Ensure regulatory, contractual, and policy compliance across projects.
• Track revisions, approvals, and distribution to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, and contractors to ensure proper document flow.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders on updates.
• Provide training on document control processes to personnel.
• Utilize enterprise document management systems to store and retrieve records.
• Index and tag metadata for efficient retrieval.
