Job summary

Central Transport LLC is hiring for an outbound operations leadership role at our Chicago Ridge facility. You will oversee a 250-door dock area, manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel, and ensure efficient loading while meeting production targets.

Ideal candidates have experience in transportation, cross-docking, or shipping environments, with strong leadership, safety, and communication skills.

• Experience in transportation, cross-docking or shipping environments.
• Familiar with customs and cross-border transportation.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outbound operations within a 250-door freight facility for your section of the dock.
• Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet production schedules.
• Utilize independent judgment to build loads based on labor and freight levels.
• Ensure proper loading of carriers by monitoring cube and weight of trailers.
• Provide leadership and accountability to drivers, dock workers and dock hand.
• Monitor dock production and KPI attainment, including overtime and safe practices.
