Novo Nordisk in Lexington, MA is seeking a Senior Scientist, DMPK to lead ADME strategy across discovery programs. You will apply PK/PD and PBPK modeling and work with cross-functional teams to advance drug candidates with favorable properties.

The role emphasizes collaboration with global ADME experts, CRO partners, and internal science leaders, driving innovations in DMPK methods while supporting project milestones and go/no-go decisions.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 10+ years (or higher) relevant experience in ADME research.
• Experience in ADME research in preclinical and/or clinical development settings.
• Hands-on PK/PD modeling and/or biotransformation knowledge.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead DMPK strategy across discovery programs.
• Apply PK/PD, PBPK, exposure–response models to predict human PK.
• Integrate DMPK data with medicinal chemistry and pharmacology to guide design.
• Oversee internal and external research initiatives, including study design and data analysis.
• Collaborate with outsourcing managers to manage CRO partners with ADME capabilities.
• Engage with global ADME experts to harmonize methodologies.
• Communicate DMPK strategy and risk to project teams and senior management.
• Represent the company externally via publications and conferences.
• Stay updated on emerging DMPK methodologies and regulatory expectations.
