Novo Nordisk A/S in Lexington, MA is seeking a Senior Scientist, DMPK to lead strategy across therapeutic areas, integrating PK/PD modeling and PBPK methods with medicinal chemistry and pharmacology to advance drug candidates.

You will coordinate with global ADME experts and CRO partners, driving high‑impact projects and communicating risk assessments to senior teams while staying at the forefront of DMPK innovations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 10+ years of relevant experience in ADME research.
• Experience in designing ADME experiments in pre-clinical/clinical settings.
• Hands-on PK/PD modeling or biotransformation experience is highly desirable.
• Strong PK knowledge and drug metabolism expertise.
• Excellent scientific communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead DMPK strategy for discovery programs across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Apply in silico models, PK/PD, PBPK, exposure–response to predict human PK/dose.
• Integrate DMPK data with medicinal chemistry and pharmacology to guide design.
• Propose and oversee internal/external research initiatives and study design.
• Collaborate with CRO partners ensuring quality, timelines and cost‑effectiveness.
• Engage with global DMPK experts to harmonize methodologies and best practices.
• Communicate findings and risk assessments to project teams and senior management.
• Represent the company externally at publications/conferences when needed.
