Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Senior Security Engineer - Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to join the Data Security team in Enterprise Technology. You will design, implement, and continually improve DLP controls across cloud and endpoint environments, leveraging Microsoft Purview, Exchange Online, and Endpoint DLP to protect sensitive data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) or related cybersecurity disciplines.
• Hands-on experience designing and configuring Microsoft Purview DLP, Exchange Online, and Endpoint DLP.
• Ability to develop and optimize DLP policies, and use regex-based controls.
• Experience with security monitoring/analytics platforms (SIEM) and network security basics.
• Proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise DLP across Purview, Exchange Online, and Endpoint DLP.
• Develop and tune DLP policies, sensitivity labels, and detection logic; optimize coverage and reduce false positives.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and business teams to enable governance and regulatory requirements.
• Create operational dashboards and analytics to measure program effectiveness (Power BI, Databricks).
• Support incident investigations, automation, and improvements across DLP technologies.
