Boise Cascade is seeking a Division General Line Procurement Manager in Boise, ID to lead strategic procurement across the division. You will drive supplier strategy, ensure product availability, manage costs, and optimize inventory while coordinating with sales, operations, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, procurement, operations, or finance.
• Typically 10+ years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, merchandising, operations, or related field.
• Willingness to travel periodically to company locations, suppliers, industry events, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the division’s general line procurement strategy and policies aligned with goals.
• Lead procurement managers, buyers, and staff across units with performance expectations.
• Manage supplier relationships including sourcing, selection, contracts, pricing, terms, and rebates.
• Oversee purchasing, replenishment, inventory levels, and supply continuity.
• Analyze market conditions and costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, finance, IT and leadership to align procurement with division priorities.
• Ensure compliance with policy, law, and internal controls; document for audits.
• Develop procurement talent and ensure continuity during vacancies.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
