Job summary

Denton Independent School District is seeking a Maintenance III to perform advanced general maintenance and repair of district buildings, facilities, equipment, and related systems. You will diagnose issues, complete repairs, and provide technical support across multiple trades to keep facilities safe and functional.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Texas driver’s license, with 2 years of building maintenance experience (3 preferred).

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas driver’s license is required.
• Two years of general building maintenance experience; three years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of district buildings, facilities, equipment, and related systems.
• Repair woodwork, doors, windows, hardware, fixtures, furniture, and other components.
• Electrical and plumbing maintenance within assigned scope.
• Inspect facilities, respond to work orders, and prioritize repairs.
• Assist with projects and support other maintenance staff as needed.
