Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Senior Distribution Systems Engineer to modernize network design and support multiple Air Force and Space Force bases worldwide. Remote work is possible with heavy travel (75–100%), and on-site execution at Eielson AFB, Fairbanks AK, will be required.

You will lead design, implementation, testing and sustainment of wired networks, collaborating with government POCs and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 5+ years in DS Engineering or IT upgrade projects.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Willingness to travel 75-100% and work remote with on-site support at bases.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, installation, testing and sustainment of wired networks.
• Guide field engineers and review work for quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate with government POCs for access, agendas and resources.
• Provide technical recommendations for ISP/OSP distribution systems.
• Develop and deliver technical plans, reports and task orders.
