Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Senior Distribution Systems Engineer to support a BIM contract at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. This on-site role requires the candidate to reside in the Honolulu area for daily project support and security clearance at the Secret level.

You will lead small implementation teams, provide technical guidance on distribution systems (ISP/OSP), and collaborate with government and internal teams to plan, test, and sustain wired network

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 5+ years of DS engineering experience, ideally in DOW environment on IT upgrade projects.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead small implementation teams and manage specific work scopes for a given site location.
• Provide technical guidance on equipment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Support and conduct end-to-end testing of fiber optic cables using OTDR and power meters.
• Develop technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task orders.
• Coordinate with Government POCs to align design, installation, and project tasks for on-time delivery.
