Placements24 is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced warehouse and distribution center in Paarl. You will drive efficiency in receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch while optimizing space and workflows.

You will manage inventory integrity, guide a team of warehouse staff, and implement WMS solutions to streamline operations. A strong focus on safety, cost control, and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in warehouse/distribution operations management.
• Proven experience with WMS and logistics software.
• Strong inventory control, material handling, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse and distribution center operations including receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch.
• Design efficient layouts and workflows to maximize productivity and space.
• Manage inventory accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet targets and safety standards.
• Implement and optimize Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory and operations.
