Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II for Distribution to lead warehouse operations with a national salary range of $105,000–$135,000. You will drive strategic processes, lead a team, ensure safety and quality, and manage the site P&L in a dynamic 3PL/contract logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Staff management is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.
• 3PL/Contract Logistics experience preferred.
• P&L management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, fostering a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed and operations run efficiently.
• Utilize WMS and other technology to track inventory and performance metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective services and supplies.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Be responsible for the site’s P&L and drive profitability.
• Prepare and present MB/RQBRs to customers with the team.
