Job summary

Qualifications

• Meet all requirements of a Distribution System Operator 2 and have a minimum of 12 months of Distribution System Operator 2 or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work shift work

Responsibilities

• Follow established policies, procedures and guidelines on distribution system operations to maintain system integrity and reliability.
• Gather and analyze system data to determine feasibility of switching requests and ensure safe operation.
• Direct and supervise electrical switching, safety tagging and testing activities.
• Notify appropriate personnel to address outages, equipment failure or emergencies on the distribution system.
• Maintain system voltages and loading within acceptable limits and update SCADA maps and records.
