Job summary

Core & Main seeks a DC Operations Manager to lead a medium-volume distribution center. You will drive capacity planning for facilities, equipment, and staff, manage performance, and oversee fleet and carrier services. Leadership includes mentoring staff and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

You will also control inventory accuracy, enforce DOT compliance, and optimize processes to meet company goals while reporting to regional leadership. This role requires a strong operations background.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable.
• BS/BA in related discipline; advanced degree may offset less experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops a strategy outlining capacity planning for facilities, equipment and staff to meet growth goals.
• Maintains documented procedures for work processes and ensures compliance with safety policies.
• Manages DC management and associates, providing leadership, coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversees dedicated delivery processes and carrier services; ensures DOT compliance.
• Manages fleet resources to meet daily customer service delivery requirements; monitors KPIs and inventory accuracy.
