Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. You will provide direction and motivation to warehouse associates while upholding safety, productivity, and quality.

You will monitor productivity, balance workloads, train staff, handle escalated issues, drive process improvements, and ensure efficient inventory management across the DC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a distribution center.
• 2+ years in a lead or mentorship role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple departments within the distribution center (case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, replenishment).
• Provides direction and motivation to warehouse associates while ensuring safety, productivity, and quality.
• Monitors productivity of warehouse associates and balances workload to meet production and delivery goals.
• Provides training, tools, and equipment for warehouse associates to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Acts as a point-of-contact for escalated issues and ensures warehousing functions run smoothly.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance DC performance and department effectiveness.
• Evaluates the distribution center’s alignment for efficiency and inventory management.
• Ensures associates maintain clean work areas and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Completes appropriate paperwork and productivity reports.
