Job summary

HD Supply leads the operation of a Distribution Center in support of company goals and provides input and feedback on all operations processes and results to the DC Manager. Responsible for input to departmental strategic and operations planning, financial management, operational reporting and communication, fleet management, process improvement, compliance, and inventory management.

Major tasks include developing operating plans for warehouse and transportation, budgeting, driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 7+ years in a distribution center with 3+ years in management.
• Experience with safety, Hazmat rules, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong input to planning, budgeting, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to DC Manager for operating plans and budgets.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and analyze operations.
• Ensure safety, Hazmat compliance, and security of facility and inventory.
• Manage performance of assistants and hourly staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
