Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Distribution Manager to oversee safety, productivity, and quality in a multi-site, high-volume distribution center. You will manage first-line supervisors and hundreds of hourly staff to meet on-time shipping via truckload, LTL and parcel.

Role emphasizes Lean management, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering/quality/production and 5+ years in distribution leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering/quality/production
• 5+ years leading distribution teams and large-scale operations
• Strong knowledge of distribution principles and lean methods (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, productivity and quality across multi-site distribution centers
• Oversee inbound, picking, outbound and cycle counting operations
• Develop and manage cost-saving and continuous improvement projects
• Prepare reports on on-time shipping, fill rate, and safety
• Mentor leaders and front-line staff in lean tools and problem solving
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to meet demand
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and drive process improvements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering; Quality Management; or Production & Operations Management
