Job summary

Walmart is seeking a passionate software engineer to join Traffic Foundation within the Global Technology Platform. The role focuses on designing and building high-performance distributed systems that scale to handle millions of requests per second across Walmart’s digital and physical channels.

You will influence product roadmaps, guide medium to large-scale projects, and collaborate with teams across E-Commerce, Stores, and more to accelerate secure traffic distribution and resilience at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with high-scale distributed systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan system development and deployment with emphasis on software compliance.
• Drive technical vision and influence product roadmap.
• Implement large-scale, cross-functional projects across teams.
• Lead discovery to develop high-level design for projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineers, including offshore teams.
• Analyze root causes of critical incidents and drive fixes.
