Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, PR, is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer – Integrated Systems to join the Anthem Next Generation Avionics program. You will shape software requirements and work on complex avionics subsystems in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.

You will lead system requirements, influence architecture, own integration, and mentor junior engineers, with 3/2 hybrid after 90 days; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Science/Engineering/Math).
• 5+ years in systems engineering or project leadership in avionics, flight management or flight guidance.
• 3+ years in systems integration, implementation and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years in advanced systems engineering technologies.
• Strong avionics lifecycle knowledge and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Lead system requirements development and decomposition.
• Influence architecture and design trade studies.
• Own integration of complex avionics subsystems.
• Lead verification and validation activities.
• Drive system-level issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor junior systems engineers.
