Qualifications

• 3-8 years of Dispatching experience.
• Bachelor or certificate program completed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Knowledge of traffic, transportation laws and regulations.
• Experience with operations software and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee dispatch activities for a large group of routes spanning multiple sites.
• Serve as primary contact for Drivers and depots.
• Analyze route data for optimization, cost reduction and service improvement.
• Collaborate with Site Managers and customer service to resolve disruptions.
• Ensure drivers and trucks are utilized efficiently.
• Manage daily truck activity and driver productivity.
• Set up crew sheets and schedules.
• Monitor DOT compliance and driver performance.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior management.
