Job summary

The Supervising Public Health Adviser will work in one of the Bureau's Sexual Health Clinics under the supervision of the Clinic Manager. The role focuses on ensuring uninterrupted clinical services and coordinating disease intervention activities across multiple clinics.

You will review line lists, supervise Public Health Advisors, manage referrals, and maintain thorough documentation while upholding confidentiality and program standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and two years of full-time public health program experience with supervisory duties.
• Experience in case finding, case management, interviewing, investigating and related public health work; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple clinics and supervise Public Health Advisors.

Responsibilities

• Review daily and weekly line lists to identify individuals needing follow-up and referrals.
• Coordinate disease intervention activities and supervise PHAs to ensure timely, effective responses.
• Serve as acting Clinic Manager in absence of the Clinic Manager and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate interviews for patients with reportable infections while maintaining confidentiality.
• Distribute patients among PHAs to ensure equitable workload and timely case management.
