Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a Senior Discovery Database Administrator to join the Legal department on a full-time, executive-level track. The role focuses on managing Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 environments, designing data models, and ensuring high availability, backups, and reporting capabilities.

The candidate will migrate systems to the cloud, develop SSRS reports, and maintain secured, well-structured databases in a clustered server setup.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022 including security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, and maintenance jobs.
• Design and maintain databases in a clustered server environment.
• Apply data lake/warehouse concepts and data modeling for integrated solutions with legacy infrastructure.
• Implement database mirroring, log shipping, backups, and high availability across SQL Server platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide database administration support and security for SQL Server environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL reports and SSRS-based reports.
• Migrate systems to cloud infrastructure and upgrade SQL Server versions.
• Setup and manage a reporting server and perform DBA functions and report development.
