Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Senior Discovery Database Administrator to join the Legal department. The role focuses on administering SQL Server environments, building and maintaining data models, reports, and ensuring data security and recovery, with potential cloud migration involvement.

The ideal candidate will have extensive SQL Server experience, including SSRS reporting, clustering, backup/recovery, and a proactive approach to support government-related accounts.

Qualifications

Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 and related services.
Ability to design and optimize data models, schemas and APIs for databases.
Strong skills in backup, restore, log shipping, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

Provide database administration support for SQL Server environments.
Set up security, create tables, indexes, stored procedures, and maintenance jobs.
Design and maintain SSRS reports and reporting servers.
Migrate systems to cloud infrastructure and upgrade SQL Server versions.
Collaborate with Legal department to support data needs and compliance.
