Job summary

Valeo is seeking an electronics-leaning engineer to lead technical execution in automotive projects. The role focuses on vision systems, problem solving with QRQC, and cross-functional collaboration across Disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.

You will mentor engineers, develop design standards for Newness levels 2-3, and contribute to the digitalization roadmap while promoting continuous improvement in a global R&D context.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electronics required.
• 5 years in a similar role, automotive experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate commitment, initiative and quality in an R&D environment.
• Experience with vision systems (camera, imager technology) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; self-motivated and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of engineering projects, including new designs based on existing knowledge or rules.
• Serve as referent for problem solving using Valeo QRQC methodologies to identify root causes.
• Effectively communicate complex technical solutions to internal and external customers.
• Share technical knowledge and best practices across teams and divisions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Discipline Engineers.
