Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience in automotive R&D is preferred.
• Direct or indirect reports management experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the whole scope of technical activities in a headlight or tail light development project.
• Lead and synchronize R&D contributors / disciplines for project targets achievement.
• Assign tasks to disciplines according to customer and project need.
• Be the first technical contact for the project internally and externally.
• Control and monitor R&D effort and costs.
• Have strict control on Engineering Change Requests.
• Proactively control of technical project risks.
• Work on problem solving, root cause analysis to find effective solutions.
• Report progress in action plan and escalate critical issues to PM/R&D Manager.
• Arbitrating technical solutions with disciplines when necessary.
• Interface with the customer for R&D subjects of the project.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Ensure product development is within defined budget and quality standards.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks with actionable plans.
• Organize reviews and technical meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor topics from DRs and ensure timely resolution.
• Lead weekly R&D meetings focusing on issues, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain synchronization between disciplines and internal milestones.
• Conduct regular reviews to align project needs with resources.
• Develop detailed breakdown of R&D activities to meet milestones.
